One of my favorite times to drop in at Shep's is Friday at lunchtime. They do something then that very few Southern restaurants do any more: they serve catfish steaks on their buffet. Don't worry; they have fillets too. But if you prefer steaks like I do, you'll appreciate Shep's good cooks and the delicious way they prepare these crispy morsels. Service is hard to beat too, with pretty smiling girls waiting tables and calling folks sweetheart and honey pie.

This place is AMAZING!!! I went in for a home style burger farmer style with an egg on it, and low and behold they had Sunday buffet. They had a nice selection, and everything taste GREAT! The service was outstanding as well. You never had to ask for refills.

Steak was delicious tender and juicy- mouth watering good!! Service was great and polite. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere very country feeling. Will definitely be back!👍🏼😋😁

The food was overpriced for the value. My biscuits and gravy tasted like straight flour and pepper. The drinks tasted bitter and rubbery almost?? The hash browns tasted like straight pepper, and the ketchup they brought me tasted like barbecue sauce! The service was decent, but they didn’t talk much. I won’t be back

Great place to eat. Service and atmosphere was outstanding. Felt like i was at home. My husband whom is a very picky eater loved the food also. We will definitely be coming back. And kudos to the cook!!!!

Ok food for small town but fried shrimp came right out of the freezer. Chicken tenders were good though and my son enjoyed his kids cheese burger.

This was one of the top 3 steaks I have ever had! Super tender, good seasoning, I didn't even have to use steak sauce. The waitresses were very attentive. I was very impressed with Shep's.

Your cook, do not take pride in what she do..I understand..I might of offended her..that wasn't my intention..In return my order was bad..I order a cheeseburger and fries..I clarified in beginning I wanted seasoning on my food..I got my order. The burger wasn't fresh. It felt like rubber and cold...no seasoning and fries was plain.. straight out the bag...but they refunded my money....it would b great if someone knew how to cook a good burger.....The burger was also dry.. the cook was Ms Maples

We stopped for lunch and was so pleased with our food. My husband had the Fish Po Boy and I had Fish and Chicken strips. Some of the best ever. And Miss Ashley was so much fun. Will have to stop again on our was through.

40 $ worth of food and all of my food was burnt!!!! I opened it when I got home because I live in Pendleton and everything was burnt fish cooked so long the meat was dry hush puppies so hard they would bust a window!! You need to find you some more cooks!!! Won't be spending my money there again!!!!
